Onsite Facilities

Stringybark lodge onsite facilitiesStringybark lodge is set on 26 acres of bush and cleared land.

Activities easily run by school staff and leaders include low ropes course, 10 station problem solving trail, mini golf, billiard tables, table tennis tables, bush hut building, trampolines, recreation room, games room and campfire area (weather permitting)

Activities which may require our staff include archery, orienteering, phototrail, onsite mountain biking, canoeing/kayaking, bouldering wall, raft builder exercise, ponding activity and campouts.

Offsite Facilities

Stringybark Lodge is well situated for access to many local attractions and natural features.

Gembrook is the final destination for Puffing Billy and is 3km from Stringybark Lodge. Bimbimbi Fauna Park and Healesville Sanctuary are in easy driving distance from the lodge as are Emerald Lake Park and a myriad of local wineries.

Gembrook Puffing BillyWe are 5km from Bunyip State Park, Kirth Kiln State Park and Shiprock Falls. In these parks we can run abseiling, caving, hiking, nature walks and mountain biking The Upper Yarra river is 20 minutes drive and weather permitting rafting or white water paddling is available.
