Wombat Corner is a 144-bed accommodation camp next to Emerald Lake Park, just under an hour from Melbourne.

Your time away could begin with a train ride on Puffing Billy, followed by a short, scenic walk to Wombat Corner.

On-site Activities include the flying fox, trampolines, mini golf, gaga ball, and bush hut building as well as canoeing, exploring the bushland trails and opportunities for extended hikes and immersive outdoor experiences.

Wombat Corner Camp

We primarily host School Groups although it is not limited to this. Over the years we have catered for Weddings, Music Groups, Car Clubs, Religious Groups, Weekend Hobby groups, Family Reunions and many more. We also offer Adventure Days that can excite and be the beginning to children’s camping journeys.

  • We offer Bronze, Silver and Gold centre based programs to enable the perfect fit to your needs. From self catered self run programs, to fully catered and all activities staffed by qualified Halls Outdoor Education staff.

    Wombat Corner and Halls Outdoor Education can create the perfect program for you.

  • You can hire the Venue for Personal Group Events.

    Religious Groups, Weddings, Meditation Groups, Conferernce, Family Reunions, Martials Arts, Dance Groups, Music Groups, Hobby Groups, Weekend Groups and Many More.

    Wombat Corner offers fully catered packages to self catered packages.

  • Adventure Days can be a great introductory to School Camps for younger students in preparation for overnight journeys.

    It is also a great way for older students to learn new and different outdoor skills.

Our dedicated leaders are on-site 24/7, providing supervision and guidance to give both children and parents peace of mind. Whether it's your child’s first camp experience or they’re a seasoned adventurer, they’re sure to have a blast with our enthusiastic and skilled team.

Our leaders are passionate about working with children, holding current Working With Children Checks and First Aid qualifications.

Please note - drop off between 3-4pm and pick up between 12 -4 pm

COST:  Prices starting at $710 per child

INCLUSIONS:  All activities, food, snacks, supervision and loads of fun!

PAYMENT:  A deposit of $100 per child is required to secure a booking.  Either the balance or full amount can be paid when placing a booking or prior to the program by Electronic Bank Transfer or Credit Card over the telephone.
